Katherine Terrace: Ultra-modern Service Station & NT’s first Pie Face Now Open
Construction of United Petroleum’s new multi-million-dollar service station has now been completed with the new site officially opened today by Fay Miller, Mayor of Katherine.
The new United Katherine redevelopment includes the first Pie Face Restaurant in the Northern Territory which compliments a 24 hour Quick Stop convenience store. The facilities include a new refuelling canopy and pumps with all grades of fuel at ultra-competitive prices. The site also provides clean and comfortable amenities with bathroom facilities, bringing customers’ food, rest and fuel needs into one place.
“We are excited about the opportunity to open the very first Pie Face Restaurant in the Northern territory which, along with the newly redeveloped fuel site, improves the economic and social amenity in Katherine by delivering a new generation service station with a broad range of fuel, food and retail offerings to service the local community”, said United Petroleum’s National Marketing Manager, Andrew English
“As the main food and fuel offer at the northern entrance to the town, the newly refurbished store at 37 Katherine Terrace is ideally located to serve locals, tourists and the transport industry using the busy Stuart Highway. The new Pie Face Restaurant offers a delicious range of handcrafted oven fresh pies and pastries which are baked fresh instore daily along with artisan roasted coffee.”
“United is all about bringing better deals on fuel, food and convenience items and, in doing so, providing more choice and bigger savings for our customers” Mr English said.
The new site is located at 37 Katherine Terrace, Katherine.
